Here in this article i am going to explain with few simple methods how to transfer pictures, music, files and movies to documents, PDFs stored on my android phone transferred to my computer.

Ways to Send Files from PC to Android:


In the starting stage, Bluetooth is the only common way to transfer data to any smartphone. Most of the laptops today are Bluetooth enabled and hence Bluetooth helps to transfer the data between these two devices. We can’t able to send the larger files through Bluetooth, it can still be used for smaller data transfers.

Follow the below guidelines:

  • Turn on your Bluetooth for both your mobile device and your PC, You can notify by tray towards the right of taskbar.
  • Once the PC’s Bluetooth has been turned ON, navigate into devices and printers and then click on add a device.
  • They will ask you for the confirmation, After typing the code or compare numbers. This will allow the computer to pair with your mobile device.
  • The device should appear in your list of connected drives when you look at your menu or file browser.
  • You can select “Send a File” from the Bluetooth menu by clicking on the Bluetooth logo on the bottom right side of your screen.

Wi-Fi Transfer

Few people don’t like to connecting Android device to PC with the USB cable or Cloud Services. If your computer is connected to a nearby wireless network, one of the convenient. and easiest ways to transfer files to a mobile device is to set up wireless transfer.

AirDroid is one such popular and free android application to transfer files wirelessly across a phone and PC. The app can be used to both receive and send files wirelessly between your PC and android phone. 

Usually while transferring files using AirDroid, i always get transfer speeds in excess of 3.5 Mbps, which is pretty much good. And at the same time it will give the additional features like You can backup app as APK on your PC and take screenshots of your Phone. All you need to do is click on the files icon from AirDroid’s web interface and select a file from the file browser that opens up, right click on any file and select download to download the file to your PC. The file will be downloaded in your web browser and can be accessed from the download menu.
